Sculpture of President Ford unveiled

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - A statue of President Gerald R. Ford was unveiled Saturday in East Grand Rapids.
The dedication ceremony was held outside the Community Center on Lakeside Drive.

The statue commemorates President Ford's centennial birthday, and is a gift from Marty and Sue Allen. It is a scale model of the bronze statue of President Ford that is standing in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

The sculptor of the statue, J. Brett Grill, is a native of Rockford Michigan.
