GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- You can ring in the new year with a run through East Grand Rapids.
The 30th annual Wolverine Resolution Run is taking place on New Year's Eve.
Proceeds from the run go to PORT, a program through Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. PORT stands for Pediatric Oncology Resource Team, and it's a group of volunteer families serving families with a child battling cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders.
The race is sponsored by Wolverine Worldwide.
The run is 3:30 in the afternoon on December 31st. It starts at East Grand Rapids High School.
