EAST LANSING, Mich. (WZZM) -- The scene in East Lansing was relatively calm following the Spartans' Rose Bowl victory over Stanford Wednesday night.
"It's actually been fairly quiet. We had a handful of couch fires," East Lansing Fire Department Lt. Chuck Gagnier said.
The fires were all quickly extinguished, Gagnier said. "They were well-behaved, there's just not many people around town," he said.
When MSU beat Ohio State to win the Big Ten Championship Dec. 8, more than 2,000 people celebrated around bonfires near Cedar Village apartments in East Lansing.
