GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- A former Kentwood man is in jail after being arrested on sex trafficking charges.
Court records show Eddie Jackson trafficked three victims in Kent and Muskegon counties between June 4th and August 31st of 2012.
Jackson served seven years in prison on four separate felony convictions before being released in 2012. The 32-year-old's criminal history is extensive and dates back more than a decade. Just six months after being released on parole, Jackson began his alleged sex trafficking activities. Jackson was eventually arrested on December 19th in Tennessee.
The federal indictment says Jackson knowingly recruited, enticed, and transported the minors, in "reckless disregard of the fact"... that minors were not 18-years-old...and "would be caused to engage in a commercial sexual act."
