Muskegon welding business burglarized

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Muskegon Police are asking for help in finding those responsible for stealing welding equipment from an area business.

The thefts happened at Lake Welding at 363 Ottawa Street in Muskegon.  Police were dispatched to the scene when an alarm went off.  A glass door had been broken by the thieves.

Witnesses told police they saw two male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts in a dark blue or black Ford Windstar minivan at the scene at about the time of burglary. Taken from the business were:

  1. Lincoln brand Mig Welder, model 180 Dual, red in color
  2. Lincoln brand Mig Welder, model 140C, red in color
  3. Lincoln brand Tig Welder, model Tig 175, red in color
  4. ESAB brand Extreme Welder, model Warrior 500i, yellow in color
