Laughfest announces more acts, events

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- The organizers of Gilda's Laughfest are announcing new shows for the the nation's only community-wide festival of laughter.

The new shows include both free and ticketed events: the Seriously Funny Family Adventure Challenge, People and Pets, Blackout Diaries, and Carly Aquilino, Chris Distefano and Andrew Schulz as seen on MTV's Guy Code.

Laughfest has already announced performers, including Jay Leno, Lily Tomlin, Jim Gaffigan, Sinbad, and Chris Tucker.  Other acts include Maria Bamford, Mike Birbiglia, Todd Barry, Rory Scovel and Nick Thune.
