(LUDINGTON DAILY NEWS) - The Mason County Road Commission has pulled its plows off of the county's roads, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office.
Chief Deputy Steve Hansen said motorists should only be traveling in the case of emergencies.
"We can't guarantee their safety if they get stuck out there," Hansen said.
Deputies were responding to a number of stuck vehicles on U.S. 31 near Fountain Road when the announcement was made.
