GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Two people are dead after a crash Saturday night in Grand Haven Township.

It happened just after 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Mercury Drive and Robbins Road.

Ottawa County Deputies say 53 year old Gaylee Burns was driving northwest on Mercury when she lost control of the car she was driving.

Her car slid into the opposite lane, and was struck near the passenger door by a Ford pick up truck driven by 47 year old Scott Miller of Grand Haven.

Burns was killed in the crash. Her husband, Lewis Burns Junior, later died from his injuries.

Miller was not injured in the crash.
