Grand Rapids Children's Museum
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - The Grand Rapids Children's Museum is asking for your help.
It is holding a diaper drive for the next few weeks to help local families.
In exchange for your generosity, a donation of a pack of disposable diapers gets you a buy-one-get-one free admission. The Children's Museum is just one participant in this drive, held by the Great Start Parent Coalition (GSPC). The diapers go to agencies helping low-income families.
"Partnering with Great Start is a natural fit," says the museum's Adrienne Brown. "They're helping the same people who come and visit us, so anything we can do to help, we're happy to."
The GSPC has collected 240,000 diapers over the past six years. Diapers sizes 3-6 are most in demand, but any sizes are appreciated.
The drive and free ticket offer goes through February 15.
