NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WZZM) -- The generosity of three Catholic churches in Muskegon is giving residents of Crestview Estates more time to find new homes.
Monday morning a representative from the churches paid a $5,000 overdue water bill that the park's owners owe the city of Norton Shores.

The parks owners told the city they would not pay the bill; that lead the city to issue permanently shut off notices. Water and sewer to the park would have ended on February 17.
The money will buy the residents until March 31 to move out.
The park is owned by Crestview Mobile Park L.L.C. which is located near Detroit.
